📋 Description

• Oversee and plan the strategic vision, organizational structure, operating policies, and procedures for secure product development • Identify and oversee implementation of architectural mechanisms that enhance software security through reuse and standardization • Define, create, scale, mature, and manage the security technology and tooling platform • Design and implement automated controls and tools to maximize operational value • Build and manage security processes and the security organization • Establish checks and balances to achieve corporate security goals and objectives • Serve as an expert in data security and privacy and implement regulatory compliance requirements • Direct the security development lifecycle, including triage of security defects and review of mitigation and remediation plans • Manage external communication of identified or reported security defects • Direct escalation of software security incidents and security reviews • Provide executive summary reports to leadership on assurance metrics, attack surface, testing, defensive coverage, and open risks • Establish data-driven decision-making direction and track performance against goals • Oversee performance and compensation for direct reports • Provide coaching and development opportunities • Manage and track emerging security technologies to maintain security and compliance standards

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years' experience with software product development • Minimum of five years' experience managing corporate application and product security programs and teams • Minimum of five years' experience managing a Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDL) for a large development organization • Technical expertise in modern development languages and cloud platforms • Exceptional skills driving product security initiatives and delivering software security • Superb written and verbal communication skills • Advanced interpersonal and presentation skills • Ability to facilitate a collaborative team environment and lead consensus • Experience building, developing, and leading highly effective security teams • Leadership ability to direct and motivate a team • Ability to provide exceptional follow-through and customer service • Ability to collaborate with management across the organization • Experience identifying and addressing technology risk considerations in new and modified software • Experience enforcing procedures and standards for audit and compliance requirements • Experience providing executive summary reports on assurance metrics, attack surface inventory, and open risks • Experience managing emerging technologies in the security space • Ability to ensure adherence to company standards, tools, and guidelines
