Hyphenate is an AI-native autonomous finance platform (formerly Maximor) that automates the office of the CFO by layering on top of existing ERP and finance systems. The platform emphasizes rapid deployment without system migration (layers on SAP, NetSuite, etc. ), straight-through processing, continuous close and full audit trails for entries and revenue recognition.

📋 Description

• Partner with Account Executives to understand customers’ end-to-end GL and sub-ledger workflows • Lead accounting-focused discovery sessions with Controllers, Accounting Managers, and Finance leaders • Evaluate ERP configurations, close processes, and accounting policies • Determine which workflows can be automated, require configuration or sequencing, or should be out of scope • Define the minimum data access and accounting artifacts required to scope functionality and pricing • Help shape solution design and pricing while balancing accounting accuracy, controls, and delivery feasibility • Translate real-world accounting workflows into automated solutions using Hyphenate • Configure Hyphenate to align with customer accounting policies, ERP structures, and close controls • Support pilots and early implementations, emphasizing accuracy, reconciliation integrity, and audit readiness • Partner with Engineering and Accounting to clarify accounting logic, edge cases, and expected outputs • Ensure pre-sale discovery outcomes are delivered correctly in production • Act as the internal accounting authority and collaborate with Product and Engineering on roadmap decisions • Surface recurring accounting patterns, edge cases, and customer constraints • Help define discovery, scoping, and implementation playbooks as Hyphenate scales

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10+ years of accounting experience, with combinations including Public Accounting, Private Accounting, Technical Advisory, or Solutions • Fluency in accounting detail and supporting technology • Hands-on experience with multiple enterprise ERP systems, ideally including at least two of NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Oracle Fusion • Experience with close management tools such as FloQast or BlackLine • Practical exposure to sub-ledgers including revenue recognition (ASC 606), fixed assets, prepaids/amortization, and accruals • Strong understanding of accounting controls and audit considerations • Advanced Excel skills, including large datasets, reconciliations, pivots, and complex formulas • Comfortable leading discovery and demo sessions with Controllers, Accounting Managers, and Finance leaders • Able to make clear judgment calls with incomplete or messy data • Comfortable working at the intersection of accounting and technology in early-stage environments • Big-4 experience is a nice-to-have • CPA or equivalent certification is a nice-to-have • Experience scoping or delivering accounting automation projects is a nice-to-have
