📋 Description

• Design, build, and manage data and inference pipelines and integrations • Develop machine learning classification and applications supporting high-impact clinical insights initiatives • Deliver industry-leading capabilities as a senior member of the team • Participate in business planning and technical strategy • Innovate in technology, team processes, and development practices • Collaborate with Architects, Developers, Data QA Engineers, DevOps, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters • Work with IDEXX’s core clinical data assets • Contribute to software and data engineering solutions that enable medical insights and improve pet health • Mentor and coach junior Development and QA team members

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency with one or more major cloud providers (AWS preferred) • Proficiency with Databricks • Proficiency with Python, PySpark, and Spark • Proficiency with AWS Services including API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS, and S3 • Proficiency with GitHub and experience with GitHub Actions • Proficiency with machine learning model-building techniques and model inference • Proficiency with relational databases and SQL • Experience building continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) systems • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Slack, and MS Teams • Familiarity with Snowflake • Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) is a plus • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt • Ability to mentor and coach more junior Development and QA team members • Experience and desire to work in Agile/Scrum teams • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
