📋 Description

• Lead and own all accounting, financial planning, and accounting operations • Develop, document, and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with GAAP and applicable regulations • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and ensure accurate, complete, timely financial statements • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash functions, cash forecasting, liquidity, and treasury management • Coordinate annual audits and oversee internal audit programs and remediation of findings • Lead accounting process optimization, automation, and system enhancements • Ensure compliance with governmental financial and tax regulations and support tax strategy initiatives • Lead FP&A activities, including budgeting, scenario modeling, and variance analysis • Manage board and lender financial reporting • Provide financial insights and analysis to operational leaders and executive decision-making • Evaluate capital management, working capital optimization, and cost-reduction initiatives • Partner with leadership on long-range planning, financing, investor relations, and pricing strategies • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing finance and accounting team • Foster collaboration across finance and other departments • Manage relationships with auditors, lenders, and external financial stakeholders • Respond to financial information requests with accurate, timely analysis and recommendations • Support management and board committees with financial analysis, reporting, and presentations

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience • 5+ years of direct responsibility for accounting operations, financial reporting, and general ledger management • Experience managing accounting close processes, financial statement preparation, GAAP compliance, and external reporting • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and modeling • Strong experience with ERP systems and accounting software • Knowledge of internal controls, COSO framework, audit best practices, and SOX compliance • Experience managing accounting and finance teams and developing talent • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools • Fluency with Microsoft Office suite • Experience in process mapping, redesign, and continuous improvement methodologies • Ability to work effectively with external auditors and manage audit engagements • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and control • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive consumer information and comply with privacy and data protection regulations • Full-time salaried availability of 40+ hours per week
