📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy UiPath automations to process and upload approximately 59,000 Position Descriptions into the designated OPM staffing platform • Build scalable, resilient workflows for large-volume document ingestion and structured data extraction • Execute automation primarily via attended bot and configure UiPath components for unattended execution as needed • Develop custom activities, reusable components, and integrations using UiPath Studio and .NET-based scripting • Build error-handling, retry, exception-capture, and audit-logging processes • Handle missing data, version conflicts, corrupted files, and other edge cases • Integrate workflows with OPM’s staffing platform using APIs, web forms automation, secure authentication, or approved mechanisms • Confirm field-level mapping between HHS Position Description data and OPM platform input fields • Monitor production bot performance and tune workflows for speed, stability, and error reduction • Produce operational reporting on processing counts, success rates, exception logs, and trends • Partner with HR SMEs, project managers, data analysts, and OPM stakeholders to finalize rules and automation logic • Provide guidance on RPA best practices, scalability, and risk mitigation • Support troubleshooting during go-live, stabilization, and transition to sustained operations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing automations in UiPath Studio • Demonstrated experience with UiPath Orchestrator, Robot, and Data Service • Experience configuring and deploying attended and unattended automation • Proficiency in .NET-based scripting, including VB.NET or C#, for custom activity development • Experience with API integration, web form automation, and secure authentication methods • Strong understanding of RPA error-handling patterns, exception management, and audit logging • Experience processing large volumes of structured or semi-structured documents, including PDF data extraction • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with non-technical HR stakeholders • UiPath certification is desired • Prior federal government client or HR modernization experience is desired • Familiarity with OPM systems, federal Position Description processes, or HR IT platforms is desired • Experience with document AI/OCR tools is desired • Ability to obtain and maintain any required federal suitability or clearance • Must be a United States citizen • Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
