• Manage a group of nearshore AR representatives and drive cash collections for a provider system • Serve as a frontline leadership partner to AR Managers and Directors, supporting team performance and client outcomes • Manage 10–15 AR representatives in a nearshore location • Partner with US- and Mexico-based leadership teams on workforce development, operational consistency, and scalable delivery models • Travel regularly to Mexico, including extended stays of up to three weeks every other month • Monitor AR performance metrics including cash collections, aged AR, denial rates, productivity, quality scores, accounts worked, and payer-specific trends • Escalate and resolve payer issues, payment delays, contract discrepancies, authorization concerns, and systemic billing barriers • Conduct account audits and quality reviews • Oversee high-dollar and high-priority accounts • Review complex claims requiring supervisor intervention and support claim resolution while incorporating representative training • Develop and execute workforce planning strategies, including onboarding, training, and capacity management • Lead, coach, and evaluate AR Representatives • Partner with a local nearshore leader to build expertise in US healthcare and AR • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, team huddles, and performance discussions • Support disciplinary action or escalation as needed • Establish and monitor operational performance metrics and identify process improvements • Collaborate with AR Managers, Directors, and Client Delivery leadership • Foster alignment between US-based and nearshore teams through communication, knowledge sharing, process adoption, and accountability • Participate in leadership and operational meetings as needed
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare Accounts Receivable, including follow-up, denials, and appeals • At least 1–2 years of AR team lead or supervisor experience • Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, billing workflows, and payer behavior • Proficiency with EHR and billing systems, Microsoft Excel, and workflow reporting tools • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills • Ability and willingness to travel to Mexico for extended periods, including approximately three weeks every other month • Opportunity and ability to expatriate to Mexico for one year • Hands-on AR experience with California payers and billing standards preferred • Experience supporting large, multi-facility health systems preferred • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred • Experience in complex denial management environments preferred • Experience supporting and leading teams within a nearshore or offshore delivery model preferred • Experience scaling nearshore operations, including workforce planning, process standardization, and performance management across distributed teams preferred
