📋 Description

• Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, test, and debug software applications • Interpret project briefs and translate requirements into functional, efficient code • Assist in gathering and refining technical requirements with stakeholders • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables • Write and maintain clear, reliable, and scalable code that meets project objectives • Contribute to the development of Java-based applications across multiple tiers • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, ensuring timely delivery of solutions • Continuously build skills in the product and technology domains • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that supports team goals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field • 5+ years of professional experience in software development • Experience with React/NextJS • Experience with Typescript; familiarity with Electron and JavaScript preferred • Experience with Web Services (SOAP or REST) • Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and MongoDB • Experience with Sequelize and JUnit (TFD/TDD) • Knowledge of Visual Studio Code, PGAdmin, and MongoDB Compass • Foundational knowledge of version control systems such as Git • Familiarity with RAD/Visual Studio and Windows Desktop OS • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies • Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust Level 5 Clearance • U.S. Citizenship required to meet the clearance requirement • Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer and keyboard • Ability to handle light lifting up to 20–30 lbs • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail throughout a full workday • Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities • Preferred: familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira • Preferred: knowledge of MVC or Façade design patterns • Preferred: experience with test-driven development and JUnit
