📋 Description

• Own the metrics, reporting and reconciliation underpinning financial decisions across OurFamilyWizard, Cozi, FamilyWall and Custody Navigator • Add governed finance metrics such as ARR, renewal rate, churn and CAC, versioned in dbt, documented in Unity Catalog, tested and wired into the internal Slack AI agent • Move recurring finance reporting into marimo, retire the underlying Tableau views and automate scheduled runs • Reconcile transactions across app stores, payment processors, subscription systems and the ledger • Build automated discrepancy checks and alerts, route discrepancies upstream with evidence, and convert discrepancies into tests; Accounting owns treatment • Forecast cohort subscriber and revenue projections, aggregate renewal and retention, and provide inputs to CFO forecasts and board reporting • Model LTV by acquisition source to inform paid-spend allocation with Growth • Model pricing and promotional impact before launch • Develop individual churn propensity and uplift models once retention workflows are ready • Ship models as tested, traceable scored tables in dbt and Unity Catalog rather than notebooks

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data science, BI engineering or advanced analytics • Statistical modeling shipped into a business process: forecasting, survival or cohort analysis, or propensity • Experience measuring the lift from a price change or a growth experiment • Experience building and defending subscription metrics to a finance stakeholder: ARR/MRR, renewal, churn, LTV/CAC, or cohort revenue • Strong SQL and real dimensional modeling; designed marts, not just queried them • Python and Git as daily habits • AI-proficient in practice, including Claude Code, coding agents and agent SDKs • Statistically rigorous; able to identify incorrect cohort curves, model leakage, and statistical noise • Fluent in finance and able to investigate and explain discrepancies between systems • Engineering ownership of metrics end to end, from CFO question through model, test, report and follow-up • Willingness to wear several hats on a small team supporting four brands • Motivation to work on products supporting families • dbt, Databricks and Unity Catalog or comparable lakehouse experience (nice to have) • Experience reconciling transactional data to a financial system of record (nice to have) • Code-first notebook reporting with marimo, Hex, Streamlit or Quarto (nice to have)
