📋 Description

• Support recruitment, training, new hire onboarding and orientation activities, including HR policies and benefits. • Support the HR team on strategic projects, reporting, data entry, people data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. • Support compliance efforts by maintaining confidential records and assisting with audits as necessary. • Assist with employee engagement programs and special events that strengthen workplace culture. • Manage communications for employees and managers while helping respond to routine HR-related questions. • Support day-to-day HR operations and contribute to projects that improve employee experience. • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. • Work with remote staff and contractors to align IEEFA culture with initiatives strengthening an inclusive and engaged global team. • Collaborate with international teams, including during some early morning or later evening hours.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development or a related field (senior or graduate level); recent graduates are welcome to apply. • High level of energy, initiative, and willingness to learn. • Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. • Commitment to IEEFA’s mission to accelerate the transition to a diverse, sustainable, and profitable economy. • Strong commitment to excellence in service. • Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact and communicate with diplomacy and tact with all levels and backgrounds of the organization and external candidates. • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. • Ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high level of accuracy. • Solid proficiency in MS Office suite. • Must be able to work for prolonged periods at a computer; computer work can involve repetitive motion, eyestrain, back and neck strain. • Candidates must be located in the United States, preferably in the Appalachian region.
