• Drive revenue and margin growth across an assigned customer portfolio and geographic territory • Represent INS and its partners to existing customers and new prospects • Achieve revenue and profitability targets within top regional accounts • Develop and maintain a funnel of qualified opportunities • Lead customer engagements, follow up on leads, and convert prospects into long-term business • Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to INS’s portfolio • Leverage internal and external resources to present appropriate solutions • Navigate complex customer and partner organizations to build consensus and accelerate growth • Coordinate with Sales Engineers, Inside Sales Representatives, Solutions Sales, and Service teams • Collaborate with Inside Sales and Operations to fulfill client expectations • Enter quotes and support order management as a backup to Customer Service • Develop relationships with strategic accounts, industry influencers, and partner contacts • Maintain knowledge of networking, wireless, automation, and IoT products and their customer applications • Support either the West Coast or Mountain Region territory
• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience • 10 years of experience in technical sales or industrial networking/automation • Proven success in customer-facing roles with complex product solutions • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Experience with networking, wireless, automation, and IoT technologies • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment • Comfort navigating ambiguous customer requirements and closing deals • Proactive, self-starting, highly motivated hunter mentality • Ability to collaborate across internal teams and partner organizations • Familiarity with CRM and pipeline management systems • Experience delivering technical presentations and developing account strategies • Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and grow existing customers • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and operate a computer and telephone
