• Represent the company professionally and ethically and foster its reputation and image • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in the assigned geography • Meet with customers and healthcare professionals to understand their practices and provide information on Taiho oncology products and services • Promote and sell existing oncology products on-label within the assigned territory • Disseminate product, disease-state, and fact statements across multiple therapeutic areas • Partner with commercial business teams on cross-functional initiatives • Drive on-label product adoption, appropriate use, and product demand • Drive sales through face-to-face interactions and innovative tools and analytical processes • Provide product expertise and customer service to all accounts • Call on academic and community customers and provide on-label technical and administrative product information • Develop new accounts within the assigned geographic territory • Build relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, office staff, and key thought leaders • Develop and execute a territory-level business plan aligned with brand strategy and sales goals • Track sales activities and report them in the CRM system • Ensure regional business practices comply with the company Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, laws, and regulations • Conduct promotional speaker programs, lunch-and-learns, and territory exhibits when permitted • Attend or exhibit at relevant medical congresses and meetings as needed • Deliver on-label product messages in person and virtually • Refer off-label information requests to the Medical Information Request process
• BA/BS degree required • Minimum 3 to 4 years in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales • Minimum 2 years of oncology experience • Hospital sales experience is a plus • Valid driver’s license required and maintained • Documented sales success in meeting and achieving sales goals • Ability to complete all training classes and product certifications • Ability to manage a large geographic territory with overnight travel and occasional weekends • Ability to synthesize and communicate complex clinical concepts in oncology/hematology to healthcare professionals • Effective account management skills and selling competencies • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal colleagues • Ability to develop and execute compliant strategies to reach difficult-to-access healthcare professionals and accounts • Flexibility and willingness to be coached and developed
