• Lead the Field Applications Engineering function for Advanced Industry • Drive exceptional growth and execute strategies to achieve sales targets • Develop and execute a comprehensive field application strategy with peers and business stakeholders • Develop a high-performing applications team through talent development, coaching, mentoring, and guidance • Drive design-win growth by setting targets and identifying new business opportunities • Foster innovation, continuous improvement, and adaptability • Nurture technical relationships with major accounts with a CTO mindset • Collaborate with segment leaders, account managers, factory engineering, and product management • Establish and maintain customer excellence processes • Participate in customer meetings and ensure exceptional service, timely support, and tailored solutions • Use data-driven insights and analytics to monitor, measure, and report on applications performance • Identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas to guide decision-making • Own budget planning and management for the field applications function • Optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI and achieve financial objectives • Travel domestically and internationally up to 35% or as needed
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics • 5 or more years of applications experience in advanced manufacturing, commercial semiconductor manufacturing process, industrial HVAC manufacturing, or a relevant field • Strong understanding of customer applications • Ability to think outside the box • Ability to adapt to various field situations • Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external customers • Willingness and ability to travel up to 35% domestically and internationally, or as needed • Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics is desirable
