• Meet/exceed the company’s sales goals covering the assigned Tucson, AZ area • Create and maintain account and territory plans to establish and achieve territory sales objectives • Establish and foster customer-centric relationships with physicians and hospital stakeholders • Continuously improve results orientation, product approval process management, territory development, and clinical knowledge • Contribute practices and creative suggestions to team members • Use computer-based customer/account management systems to track contacts, activity, and follow-up • Complete timely activity reports and monthly/quarterly business reviews • Assist with trade show exhibits and attend periodic company-sponsored sales meetings • Work with surgeons to increase exposure through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal clubs, and poster presentations • Assist with identifying cases for case studies, white papers, and video library additions • Maintain current RepTrax and similar third-party accreditation requirements for account access • Contribute to project team activities • Coordinate and facilitate hospital product approval processes • Identify additional target hospitals and physicians within the territory • Assist with training surgeons and hospital staff • Travel extensively during the daytime, with occasional overnight and weekend travel
• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in orthopedic or medical device sales • Minimum Bachelor's degree, in related field preferred • Ability to “concept” sell novel products • Success in a start-up environment and/or launching new products • Customer and account profiling ability • Track record of consistently exceeding sales and topping team “leader boards” • Rich professional references documenting the respect of previous supervisors and tier one customers • Entrepreneurial orientation, high initiative, self-directed orientation • Essential customer service skills/experience • Strong self-starter and effective team player with consensus building skills • Ability to evaluate communication/advertising materials and programs and make recommendations • Experience developing and implementing tools to secure accurate feedback regarding business needs and improvements • Ability to communicate customer requirements effectively within the Company • Ability to anticipate the timing and need for new promotional materials • Ability to work effectively through phone and email for company management • Comfortable in a start-up environment and willing to grow into a larger formalized organization • Ability to effectively work in a virtual environment at home or at a centrally located office • Ability to work flexible hours depending upon project and/or customer needs • Ability to travel extensively during the daytime, with occasional overnights and weekends • Willingness to meet RepTrax and similar third-party accreditation requirements
