📋 Description

• Reconcile equity compensation financial reporting between customers’ prior results and NextGen, covering ASC 718 stock compensation expense, corporate and deferred tax, disclosures, and ASC 260 diluted EPS • Develop and deliver summary and detailed comparison reports for reconciliation cycles • Analyze discrepancies, identify root causes, quantify differences, and recommend resolutions • Produce comprehensive financial and administrative reconciliation documentation • Reconcile participant- and grant-level equity data, including grants, vesting schedules, exercises, releases, cancellations, forfeitures, and outstanding/exercisable balances • Validate share balances, grant lifecycle events, and migrated transaction history • Reconcile ESPP enrollment, contribution, and purchase data • Confirm participant demographic, tax, and account information migrated correctly • Maintain follow-up trackers of open items through closure • Partner with financial reconciliation teams to tie administrative data to expense, tax, disclosure, and EPS results • Coordinate with data-loading, product, administrative reconciliation, and financial reconciliation teams • Validate migrated and loaded data against expected results and confirm fixes flow through correctly • Document mapping logic, exceptions, and resolution steps • Serve as a senior point of contact for customer stakeholders • Ensure deliverables meet SLAs and quality standards and proactively surface risks • Lead customer conversations and follow up with actionable plans • Mentor and support junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of five years of experience in financial accounting, focused on equity compensation management and reconciliation • Strong working knowledge of ASC 718 expense reporting, ASC 260 diluted EPS, corporate tax, and disclosure concepts • Experience with administrative/participant-level equity reconciliation, equity-related disclosures, and year-end tax reporting, including W-2 inserts, Forms 3921 and 3922 • Experience with data migration, mapping, and validation across financial and equity administration systems • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software • Familiarity with equity management platforms and financial accounting systems • Expertise in financial and administrative reconciliation, discrepancy identification, and resolution • Knowledge of equity compensation financial reporting and administration • Proficiency in DB querying/SQL, report generation, data analysis, and automation • Ability to create process documentation and SOPs and maintain work tracking • Strong written and verbal communication, including status reporting, escalations, and meeting follow-ups • Excellent accuracy and ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to communicate effectively with customers by email and in person • Ability to pass required background checks where permitted by country, state/province
