📋 Description

• Lead a global engineering organization across multiple EPM product lines • Own how the EPM portfolio is built, shipped, and operated • Define and execute modernization strategies for legacy applications • Sequence modernization incrementally and protect production customers • Reduce technical debt through measurable targets and executive reporting • Plan and execute customer migrations from on-premise and single-tenant deployments • Lead design and delivery of cloud-native, multi-tenant services • Build shared platform capabilities including identity, observability, metering, tenant provisioning, and self-service environments • Own SaaS operational excellence, including SLOs, error budgets, on-call, incident management, capacity planning, cost efficiency, and disaster recovery • Embed security, privacy, and compliance into architecture and delivery pipelines • Lead adoption of an agentic software development lifecycle • Establish safeguards for AI-generated changes, including human review, testing, evaluation, provenance, traceability, and secure data handling • Redesign engineering workflows, roles, and skills for agentic delivery • Partner with Product to deliver trusted customer-facing AI capabilities for finance users • Build production AI foundations including model and prompt management, retrieval, evaluation, and monitoring • Apply responsible-AI practices including explainability, auditability, tenant isolation, and human-in-the-loop controls • Own DORA outcomes and quarterly improvement targets across product lines • Implement test automation, continuous integration, trunk-based development, feature flags, and progressive delivery • Improve reliability through SLOs, error budgets, and blameless post-incident reviews • Shift security left through automated scanning, dependency management, vulnerability management, and secure-by-default pipelines • Report engineering, quality, operations, and system performance to executive management • Lead staffing, mentoring, and development of high-performing teams across disciplines and geographies • Collaborate with architects, product managers, engineering managers, and developers on technical direction • Drive engineering roadmaps, operational plans, and delivery commitments in an Agile/Lean environment • Manage departmental budgets and resources, including employees, contractors, and suppliers • Negotiate vendor contracts and statements of work • Build a culture of ownership, psychological safety, continuous improvement, and customer focus • Evolve software development practices, tooling, reporting, and methodology

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline • Prior experience serving as a Vice President of Engineering • 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience • 10+ years of software development experience • At least 5 years building and running cloud products using Java, C#, and JavaScript/TypeScript • 7+ years leading multiple Agile teams and programs • Expert understanding of Agile and Lean principles • 5+ years driving full DevOps and continuous delivery practices • Demonstrated track record of improving DORA metrics and software quality at scale • 3+ years managing global engineering teams and suppliers across multiple products • Experience with teams combining full-time employees and contractors • Experience modernizing legacy or on-premise enterprise applications to cloud-native SaaS, including customer migrations • Hands-on leadership experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and production operations, including SLOs, incident management, and on-call • Demonstrated experience using AI and agentic tooling to measurably improve engineering productivity and quality • Proven ability to manage multiple product lines and meet release commitments • Experience negotiating contracts and SOWs with vendors • Background checks are required for employment where permitted by country, state/province
