📋 Description

• Translate business requirements into scalable data models and mine insights for measurable impact • Own ambiguous data initiatives end-to-end, defining projects and deliverables • Design and automate dashboards, models, and reporting systems • Build and maintain data products supporting Revenue Accounting, including revenue recognition logic in financial data models • Apply compliance-first design principles supporting SOX, audit readiness, and data governance • Implement validation, monitoring, and reconciliation frameworks for financial datasets • Identify process optimization, automation, and system enhancement opportunities across Finance and Accounting • Use AI technologies such as Claude, Cursor, Python ML libraries, and Copilot to advance financial analytics

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering roles • Strong SQL and cloud data fundamentals • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and BI tools such as Mode, Looker, or Tableau • Experience building and supporting complex data pipelines with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and traceability • Familiarity with financial data structures, accounting processes, and enterprise systems such as Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, or Adaptive • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams • Preferred: public company experience with SOX compliance • Preferred: high-growth technology environment experience • Preferred: large-scale financial or operational systems implementation experience • Project management experience a plus • Preferred: experience supporting Finance and Accounting teams with scalable data solutions • Preferred: cloud cost management experience, ideally in AWS • Preferred: familiarity with AI/ML applications in data analytics
