📋 Description

• Perform analysis and prepare reports supporting the annual budget process • Contribute to financial and operational close and reporting processes • Assist with financial forecasting and update the long-range financial forecast model • Partner with teams to validate modeling assumptions • Help drive annual budgeting, maintaining budget templates and scenarios • Own headcount and contractor cost forecasting, including roster-level detail, burden rates, role-by-role phasing, and plan reconciliation • Create, consolidate, and distribute monthly reports and critical metrics • Support monthly financial close and annual financial audit activities • Prepare YTD and full-year reporting packages for auditors, lenders, and sponsors • Perform budget-versus-actual variance reporting and support presentations to functional leaders • Provide analytical support to assigned teams and build cross-business relationships • Build executive, board, partner, and client presentations with P&L commentary, revenue bridges, and KPI pages • Provide decision support using ROI, NPV, and benchmarking for partnerships, contracts, and M&A activities • Analyze vendor, cloud, and other significant spend categories and identify cost-efficiency opportunities • Research, select, implement, and refine FP&A processes and systems • Maintain scenarios, data fetches, and mappings in Cube and NetSuite • Use AI for repeatable tasks such as variance commentary, reconciliation checks, deck production, and document summaries, applying human judgment for final tie-outs • Research markets, customers, and products to strengthen financial support • Perform ad hoc research, analysis, and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be located in AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA, or WI • 4+ years of finance experience, preferably in a high-growth technology company or consulting firm • Prior experience working for a private-equity backed company, including sponsor and lender reporting cadence • Proven track record of achievement and delivering impactful results • Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills • Ability to distill issues into simple, structured frameworks and communicate them clearly • Experience partnering with leaders across sales, marketing, R&D, operations, and other functions • Strong communication skills with individuals at all organizational levels • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities • Experience with ERP, FP&A, Analytics, CRM, or other finance-function systems • Ability to collaborate across teams and with universities and corporate clients • Prior experience with NetSuite, Cube, and Tableau is a plus • Hands-on use of AI tools in finance or analytical workflows is a plus
