📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop software engineers and architects • Oversee software design, development, validation, debugging, and optimization across firmware, drivers, operating systems, applications, and platforms • Define objectives, measurable goals, and accountability for team performance • Manage resources, timelines, and deliverables to drive execution excellence • Collaborate with hardware engineering, product management, validation, architecture, and product teams • Set technical direction and engineering strategy • Manage performance, hiring, coaching, and career development • Communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders • Engage with customers, provide support, and integrate feedback into product improvements • Foster an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering and Mathematics • 20+ years of software development experience • 5+ years of direct people-management experience leading software engineering teams • Experience delivering complex software products through the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, development, validation, release, and support • Strong technical depth in systems software, firmware, GPU/graphics software, AI/ML software, or cloud/distributed systems • Strong C/C++ expertise preferred • Experience with device drivers (KMD/UMD) preferred • Knowledge of DirectX, Vulkan, or OpenGL preferred • Experience with GPU architecture, compiler technology, runtime software, or graphics stacks preferred • Experience with hardware bring-up, emulation, validation, and silicon enablement preferred • Must live and work from the country specified in the job posting, where Intel has a legal presence • Must consent to and pass an extended Background Investigation
