📋 Description

• Develop and execute account strategies across assigned state government accounts. • Research legislative, regulatory, and funding initiatives to identify emerging business opportunities. • Build relationships with state agency staff, legislative offices, governors' offices, healthcare associations, and other key stakeholders. • Attend customer meetings, conferences, association events, and executive briefings to increase InterSystems' visibility within assigned territories. • Assist in developing account plans, stakeholder maps, opportunity strategies, and executive engagement plans. • Coordinate internal resources to support customer pursuits, including Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, and Executive Leadership. • Learn or advance knowledge in state procurement processes, budgeting cycles, and public-sector funding mechanisms. • Support proposal development, customer presentations, and business development campaigns. • Maintain accurate customer information and opportunity tracking within tracking system. • Participate in a structured professional development program.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in state government, executive branch, legislature, public policy, political campaigns, government affairs, business development, consulting, or a related field. • Demonstrated understanding of state government operations, political and policy environments, and the roles of executive agencies, legislative bodies, and key public-sector stakeholders. • Strong relationship-building, written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with senior leaders and external stakeholders. • Demonstrated interest in developing a career in enterprise technology sales and a willingness to complete structured sales, healthcare industry, and InterSystems technology training. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
