📋 Description

• Support the launch and ongoing growth of Ionis’s first wholly owned commercial product as its indication expands from FCS to severe hypertriglyceridemia • Engage key customers and accounts, identify opportunities to improve patient care, and build partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem • Build, maintain, and leverage local healthcare networks and relationships • Develop and execute effective business plans and customer-focused territory strategic account plans • Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on severe hypertriglyceridemia awareness, diagnostic pathways, and treatment • Provide value-added HCP and patient support materials and programs • Participate in conferences, congresses, and scientific meetings • Gather market insights, profile accounts, and inform sales and marketing strategy • Understand local referral networks and identify, validate, and document potential treating HCPs • Engage endocrinologists, cardiologists, targeted PCPs, and other relevant specialties • Participate in field meetings and training programs; complete certification and compliance training • Collaborate with cross-functional field teams, leadership, marketing, field operations, and analytics • Share customer engagement learnings and use available technology to compliantly engage customers across multiple channels • Partner on accounts involving patients seen by multiple specialties across geographies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 5+ years of experience in Pharma sales • Experience in new product launches • Experience with account-based selling • HCP and IDN engagement experience • Cross-functional field team coordination experience • Prior experience independently managing a sales territory • Background in cardiology, endocrinology, and other sub-specialties treating FCS patients • Injectable experience preferred • Familiarity with cardiometabolic and lipid-related diseases such as severe hypertriglyceridemia • Established relationships with key opinion leaders and major accounts • Ability to analyze market data and develop territory strategies • Record of navigating complex accounts and aligning solutions with patient needs • Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to addressing patient needs • Ability to operate in compliance with the Ionis Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
