📋 Description

• Manage the reimbursement environment for Ipsen products within the Neuroscience therapeutic area in the healthcare provider channel • Manage relationships with local Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) • Provide field-based reimbursement support to targeted healthcare providers for Ipsen neurology therapies • Translate local and national payer policies and assist customers with coding, coverage, and payment • Collaborate with Value & Access, field, sales, brand, and IPSEN CARES teams to expand access and reduce barriers • Develop reimbursement strategies, tactics, tools, and approved field materials • Develop and maintain relationships with MAC contacts • Provide reimbursement support at advisory boards and professional conferences • Increase awareness of the IPSEN CARES Patient Support Hub • Serve as an internal field reimbursement expert and provide competitive intelligence • Identify reimbursement-related barriers to access and advise account managers on payer challenges and trends • Support patient access across physician practices, hospitals, academic institutions, thought leaders, advocates, and regional/state societies • Coordinate Ipsen presentations at payer and healthcare provider meetings • Respond to customer reimbursement-support requests within target metrics • Support analysis and planning for local payer coverage-policy changes • Assist in developing reimbursement training programs for healthcare providers • Partner with neurology commercial and market access teams to identify barriers affecting product adoption and growth • Provide field insights supporting strategic initiatives across academic centers, integrated health systems, and community neurology practices • Analyze treatment patterns, referral networks, payer coverage trends, and site-of-care dynamics • Support regional reimbursement readiness and access planning for new neurology product launches • Monitor payer policies, prior authorization, step therapy, coding, payment, specialty pharmacy, and utilization-management trends • Track competitive reimbursement and access developments and recommend actions • Analyze Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer-policy impacts • Engage neurology practice administrators, reimbursement specialists, infusion-center leaders, and advocacy organizations • Support provider education on reimbursement best practices and market access trends • Inform forecasting, lifecycle management, evidence dissemination, and future product planning • Contribute to reimbursement resources, training programs, and field tools

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or consulting industry experience • 5+ years of related reimbursement experience with injectable or infused drugs, or medical device products that require reimbursement support • Expert level knowledge of coverage, coding, and payment policies • Exceptional verbal and written communication, problem solving, and organizational skills • Strong business, analytical, administrative, and team building skills • Ability to simplify complex messages and rationale in a compliant manner • Ability to work independently and lead effectively in a fast-paced, highly fluid, and matrixed environment • Highest personal integrity and ethics; strong judgment and discretion • PC literacy, including MS Office, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, texting, mobile smartphone, Veeva CRM, and Concur • Physical ability to use relevant machines and/or equipment as needed • Ability to work evening and/or weekend hours as necessary • Ability to manage a large geographic territory and work effectively from a home office, vehicle, or customer location • Up to 60% business travel, including regular overnight travel by air or car • Must reside within proximity to a major airport within the region • Bachelor's degree in public policy, economics, business administration, life sciences, or equivalent is required • Previous reimbursement support experience with physician-administered ('buy and bill') oncology and neurology drugs preferred • Experience with Medicare Part D products strongly preferred • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS) preferred • Certification in Medical Coding preferred
