📋 Description

• Manage the reimbursement environment for Ipsen products within the Neuroscience therapeutic area in the healthcare provider channel • Manage relationships with local Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) • Provide timely field-based reimbursement support to targeted healthcare providers for Ipsen’s Neurology therapies • Translate local and national payer policies and assist customers with coding, coverage, and payment • Collaborate with Value & Access, field, sales, brand, and IPSEN CARES teams to expand access and reduce barriers • Design and develop reimbursement strategies, tactics, tools, and approved field materials • Develop and maintain relationships with MAC contacts • Provide reimbursement support at advisory boards and professional conferences • Serve as an internal field reimbursement expert and provide competitive intelligence • Identify reimbursement-related barriers to access and advise Account Managers on payer challenges and trends • Support patient access across private practices, hospitals, academic institutions, thought leaders, advocates, and professional societies • Coordinate Ipsen presentations at payer and healthcare provider meetings • Achieve response-time and other reimbursement-support metrics • Analyze and plan for changes in local payer coverage policies • Assist in developing reimbursement-related healthcare provider training programs • Partner with Neurology, Sales, Account Management, Market Access, and Brand teams to address access barriers and support portfolio growth • Provide field-based insights for academic centers, integrated health systems, and community neurology practices • Analyze treatment patterns, referral networks, payer coverage trends, and site-of-care dynamics • Support regional reimbursement readiness for new neurology product launches • Develop launch-related reimbursement strategies, educational materials, and stakeholder engagement plans • Monitor payer policies, prior authorization, step therapy, coding and payment updates, specialty pharmacy trends, and utilization management • Track competitive reimbursement and access developments and provide recommendations • Analyze Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer policy impacts • Develop relationships with neurology practice administrators, reimbursement specialists, infusion center leaders, and advocacy organizations • Support provider education on reimbursement best practices and market access trends • Inform forecasting, lifecycle management, evidence dissemination, and future product planning • Contribute to reimbursement resources, training programs, and field tools

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or consulting industry experience • 5+ years of related reimbursement experience with injectable or infused drugs, or medical device products that require reimbursement support • Experience overcoming access-related issues at the provider and payer level • Expert-level knowledge of coverage, coding, and payment policies • Exceptional verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Strong business, analytical, administrative, and team-building skills • Ability to simplify complex messages and rationale in a compliant manner • Ability to work independently and lead effectively in a fast-paced, highly fluid, and matrixed environment • Highest personal integrity and ethics; strong sense of judgment and discretion • PC literacy, including MS Office, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, texting, mobile smartphone use, Veeva CRM, and Concur expense reporting software • Physical ability to use relevant machines and/or equipment as needed • Ability to work evening and/or weekend hours as necessary to meet business needs • Ability to manage a large geographic territory and work effectively from a home office, vehicle, or customer location • Willingness to travel up to 60%, including regular overnight travel by air or car • Must reside within proximity to a major airport within the South Central region • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, economics, business administration, life sciences, or equivalent is required • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS) preferred • Certification in Medical Coding preferred • Previous reimbursement support experience with physician-administered (“buy and bill”) oncology and neurology drugs preferred • Experience with Medicare Part D products strongly preferred
