📋 Description

• Own day-to-day delivery for the Veteran Transition Experience program at the Department of Veterans Affairs • Serve as Scrum Master and facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and other ceremonies • Partner with Product Managers to align execution with product goals, priorities, and release plans • Monitor scope, schedule, resources, quality, risks, dependencies, milestones, and delivery commitments • Coordinate work across product, engineering, design, research, analytics, and other functions • Track sprint velocity and delivery measures to improve predictability and continuous improvement • Lead contractual reporting, including the Monthly COR report, and maintain program-health visibility • Build relationships with VA stakeholders and communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans • Support project invoice workflows with operations and finance partners • Establish Agile, documentation, and knowledge-management practices; support onboarding • Develop reporting on delivery progress, risks, trends, and outcomes using delivery and product metrics • Provide leadership across an assigned IronArch portfolio, including delivery performance, staffing, and risk oversight • Serve as an escalation point for client and contract delivery issues • Build executive-level customer relationships and monitor staffing, delivery, financial, and portfolio health • Participate in Delivery Operations, Business Health Reviews, and Monthly Business Reviews • Manage, coach, and develop Program Managers, Associate Program Managers, and other delivery personnel • Mentor delivery leaders and support strategic account planning and growth opportunities • Partner with leadership when programs require additional technical, operational, or delivery support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant professional experience • Significant experience leading delivery for complex digital product or technology programs • Demonstrated experience serving as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, Agile Delivery Manager, or in a comparable hands-on delivery role • Strong working knowledge of Scrum and Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, release planning, velocity, dependency management, and continuous improvement • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, design, research, analytics, and operations • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage delivery risks, blockers, dependencies, schedules, and competing priorities • Experience developing program or contract reporting for customers and organizational leadership • Experience working directly with government or enterprise customers and communicating effectively with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels • Experience managing and developing employees, including coaching and performance feedback • Ability to move between hands-on team delivery and broader program or portfolio-level concerns • Strong facilitation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills • Ability to create structure and clarity in complex or ambiguous delivery environments • Nice-to-have: Current authorization/onboarding to work with the Department of Veterans Affairs • Nice-to-have: Previous experience supporting VA, VHA, or other federal civilian technology programs • Nice-to-have: Experience supporting Veteran-facing digital products or digital health services • Nice-to-have: Experience with Google Analytics 4 or similar analytics platforms • Nice-to-have: Experience with GitHub, Mural, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools • Nice-to-have: Experience with government contract reporting, invoice workflows, staffing forecasts, and contract performance monitoring • Nice-to-have: Experience managing delivery across multiple contracts or programs • Nice-to-have: Experience supporting account growth, capture, proposals, or business development activities
