📋 Description

• Obtain, calculate, and compile data for conceptual and bid proposal estimates • Prepare routine estimates under general supervision • Ensure quantity surveys and pricing are accurate and complete • Support bidding strategy development by debriefing salespeople on job elements • Lead project documentation management and communicate decisions to sales and operations teams • Attend pre-bid meetings to discuss project specifics and scope • Participate in bid closings and estimate reviews • Balance workload and assignments to meet deadlines • Develop value analysis studies with cost-efficient alternatives to proposed scopes • Manage post-bid action items and finalize ISEC scope • Compute cost estimates for materials, purchased equipment, subcontracted work, production activities, requirements, and labor • Assist in developing and mentoring Level 1 and 2 employees • May assist with hiring and performance reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred qualification) • Meets all Minimum Qualifications of Estimator I and II • High level of strategy and proactive engagement to move projects through estimating effectively • Knowledge of ISEC products, services, processes and projects • Exposure to multiple or larger projects with increased scope and complexity • Independent decision-making • Ability to work fully autonomously • Ability to direct activities and offer recommendations and solutions • Demonstrated problem-solving and mature judgment • Ability to assist in development and mentoring of Level 1 and 2 employees • May have multiple direct reports • May assist with hiring and performance reviews • Strong customer service, accountability, follow-up, communication, and positive attitude • Advanced knowledge of ISEC products, services, processes and projects
