📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Atlassian tools and advise clients on products, related technologies, and Isos best practices • Provide advanced end-user support, including Jira workflow scripting/automation, Confluence content authoring, and Bamboo build plan creation • Understand client business requirements, integrations, and system architecture to recommend continuous improvements • Design and build sustainable, enterprise-grade solutions that can be transitioned to client teams • Design and deploy highly available Atlassian environments across Linux and occasionally Windows, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Crowd • Author and maintain best practices for on-premises and cloud-based Atlassian environments • Configure, maintain, and tune PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle databases • Integrate Atlassian tools with Active Directory/LDAP, Crowd, OAuth, and SAML • Work within complex networking environments and apply enterprise networking concepts • Utilize Git version control • Write and maintain Bash and Python system administration scripts • Implement and enhance automation tooling • Use automated security testing platforms to audit and secure applications • Ensure deployments follow security, performance, and reliability best practices • Develop, document, and implement standardized processes and technical instructions • Refine delivery processes for efficiency and scalability • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship • Communicate with clients across industries and technical skill levels • Facilitate stakeholder discussions to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities • Collaborate with clients to create strategic roadmaps • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor • Identify opportunities to expand services and increase client value • Support clients in adopting best practices and evolving their Atlassian ecosystem

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience and/or expert knowledge of working in a technical operational environment • Experience configuring and scripting for various operating systems • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems that include multiple components • Experience configuring and integrating with authentication/directory services such as Active Directory (LDAP), Crowd, OAuth, and SAML • Experience supporting and working with relational databases • Experience with third-party and custom application installation, configuration, and/or support • Experience scripting using REST APIs • Ability to conduct yourself professionally and in accordance with Isos' values • Ability to effectively manage time and expectations with internal resources and clients • Ability to manage multiple clients and issues simultaneously • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, for technical and business operations audiences • Ability to function on a highly collaborative team of fellow engineers and front-end application admins • Preferred: Deploy Atlassian applications via Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, or CloudFormation • Preferred: Experience with bare-metal, virtual machines, and public clouds such as AWS • Preferred: Experience with Atlassian Forge • Willingness to participate in and successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug testing • Authorized to work in the United States
