📋 Description

• Serve as the technical expert for diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior Field Service Engineers • Assist with training and onboarding of new team members • Lead installation and configuration of advanced equipment at customer sites • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs • Ensure all work meets company standards and customer specifications • Deliver high-quality customer service and technical support • Conduct on-site training and provide system guidance to end users • Build strong customer relationships to support long-term success • Plan, schedule, and execute field service projects • Manage resources and timelines to ensure on-time completion • Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and equipment records • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality • Support inventory management of tools, parts, and calibration equipment • Present a positive image and interface to the Service Group • Supervise and provide technical support to junior FSEs • Create a collaborative, can-do, results-oriented team environment • Oversee team organization, documentation, preventive maintenance, and calibration jig inventory • Work with Sales and peers

🎯 Requirements

• FSE III typically requires 7 - 10 years of related experience • AA/AS Degree preferred; 7 years mechanical, electromechanical equipment repair experience in the Surface Mount Technology industry sufficient in lieu of degree • Valid U.S. Driver’s License • Valid U.S. passport • Frequent domestic and international travel, up to 80% • Must be able to lift 60–75 lbs • Must be able to work within/around equipment • Must be able to bend into machinery without restrictions • Advanced technical expertise diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues • Professionalism in appearance and manner • Competence and high-level service delivery • Timely and accurate documentation • Current and quality preventive maintenance records • Calibration Jigs inventory maintenance • Care of company assets, tools, laptop, and cell phone • Teamwork with Sales and peers
