📋 Description

• Travel to customer facilities throughout Texas • Perform preventive maintenance • Calibrate equipment • Troubleshoot and repair equipment • Install and commission new systems • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues • Provide technical guidance and hands-on training to customers • Complete service documentation, field reports, and expense reports • Maintain professionalism and customer satisfaction during service visits • Follow company and customer safety procedures • Support customers with occasional travel outside the region for training, customer support, or special projects

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field preferred • Military technical experience or trade school training may be considered in place of a degree • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings • Comfortable working with Windows-based computers and technical software • Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Previous field service experience is advantageous • Preventive or corrective maintenance experience on electro-mechanical or servo-hydraulic equipment is advantageous • Experience with materials testing systems is advantageous • Experience delivering technical training to customers is advantageous • Industrial automation or controls experience is advantageous • Ability to travel throughout Texas and occasionally to other regions • Approximately 75% routine overnight travel
