📋 Description

• Serve customer needs in accordance with Hi-Cone's organizational goals • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul automated packaging equipment at customer beverage manufacturing facilities • Work closely with customers, project managers, engineers, quality personnel, and sales • Safely perform work in accordance with the enterprise safety vision • Identify equipment and material needs for projects and coordinate with customer representatives and internal teams • Participate in and successfully complete job-related educational courses and training/testing programs • Assist with training internal and external personnel • Use hand and power tools applicable to the trade • Make necessary running adjustments, repairs, and overhauls • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and schematics • Maintain knowledge of low- and high-voltage electrical systems, PLCs, servo motion systems, discrete and analog field devices, and basic wiring principles • Independently plan and execute travel

🎯 Requirements

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to write professional emails and service reports • Strong end-user computer skills • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings • Strong ability for mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and installation • Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, Servo systems and relay logic • Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC and HMI programming experience • Electromechanical degree preferred • Vocational training or relevant work experience may be acceptable • Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day • Must lift 40-50 pounds for extended periods • Must reside within 2-hour drive of a major airport • Must maintain a valid driver license, clean driving record, and valid passport at all times • Must maintain ability to freely travel domestically and internationally • Up to 85% travel required • On call to travel 24 hours per day, 7 days per week when not on vacation or approved time off
