📋 Description

• Installs, repairs, upgrades and performs preventative maintenance on specified Carl Zeiss Meditec instrumentation in a designated field service territory • Represents Carl Zeiss Meditec at customer locations and works to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction • Diagnoses and repairs designated products within an assigned service territory, including preventative maintenance, installations and upgrades • Schedules, creates, verifies and/or modifies customer visits based on customer needs • Completes and submits daily field service reports according to written procedures • Completes and submits weekly expense reports according to company policies and procedures • Maintains spare parts inventory and returns designated spare parts • Supports revenue growth through promotion and retention of service agreements • Maintains professional communications with internal and external customers • Resolves difficult customer issues while meeting established customer service levels • Maintains effective territory management and expense control • May assist in training and mentoring new hires • Develops strong relationships with key customers • Supports trade shows by installing and maintaining equipment • Instructs customers on operation and maintenance of equipment as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, Electro-mechanical, Optics, Data Management, including Networking or Medical Field Service • BS Engineering, Electronics, Computer Technology, computer networks or related fields preferred • A+ and Net+ certification and thorough knowledge of ophthalmic anatomy preferred • Must have good verbal and written communication skills • Must have strong computer skills; certifications preferred • Must be able to pass required training to service fine mechanics and optics • Ability to effectively service equipment as assigned • Multiple project and time management skills are required • Experience with several CZM product lines • Must have a thorough understanding of schematics and complex technical data • Basic understanding and knowledge of ophthalmic anatomy and diseases of the eye, i.e., CCOA certification or equivalent preferred
