📋 Description

• Test relays, circuit breakers, transformers, motor control equipment, and related switchgear in the field, including synch check and point-to-point testing • Perform and lead a crew in field testing, maintenance, and repair of breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control, and associated equipment • Ensure proper preparation and documentation for site projects • Help evaluate department talent, identify training needs, and recommend action plans • Identify and secure equipment needs for shop and field • Provide daily site summaries in coordination with the assigned project manager • Provide weekly production status reports to project management, operations managers, and Service Assistant • Maintain understanding of the technical side of company core business needs • Attend and contribute to project kickoff meetings • Support project budget adherence • Continuously instruct and train others • Support sales efforts by assisting with labor estimates and job walks when necessary • Remain current on all safety and technical training

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years’ related experience in power plants, industrial services, primary power distribution and related protection and control schemes • 4 years of industrial or commercial power systems experience • High School Diploma • Reference and complete assignments as described in applicable specifications • Ability to perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors • Ability to read company manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures • Ability to speak with poise and confidence, using correct English • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, and management ability • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) • Valid Driver’s license and good driving record
