📋 Description

• Inspect turbine and generator components • Provide technical direction • Review turbine inspection data • Supervise repairs • Troubleshoot equipment • Perform rotor and steam path alignment • Track outage schedules and manpower • Supervise labor • Plan outages • Train customers • Spend approximately two years working as an Engineer in Training with Senior Field Engineering mentors • Learn maintenance practices required to inspect GE and Westinghouse steam turbine-generator units • Work on billable assignments according to skills and abilities after and, when appropriate, during training • Assist start-up engineers with system checkouts after outages and monitor turbine operation • Assist with turbine laser alignment • Perform vibration analysis and balance turbine generators

🎯 Requirements

• BS Engineering degree • Strong understanding of power generation equipment and related support systems • Ability to work in an industrial environment • Must pass a drug screen and background review • Extensive travel within the US, and occasionally outside the US for short periods • Prior experience working on power generation equipment, automobiles and related systems, industrial equipment, or shipboard work experience (preferred) • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word (preferred) • Project Management experience (preferred) • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
