📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and third-party SaaS integrations • Design and lead data extraction and transformation strategy from Snowflake environments • Establish schema standards, transformation logic, and data quality criteria supporting downstream analysis and product use cases • Collaborate with engineers and product teams to define data contracts and schema standards • Design and implement alerting and observability strategy for data pipelines on GCP • Define SLOs, alert thresholds, and dashboards • Set up the monitoring stack • Own data quality by writing validation logic, catching issues, solving problems, and designing solutions before production • Participate in the full software lifecycle from design through deployment • Report to the VP of Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 4+ years of software or data engineering experience • Hands-on experience extracting from and integrating with Snowflake • Proficiency with BigQuery and PostgreSQL • Strong Python skills • Comfort connecting to third-party APIs and SaaS data sources • Experience building atomic, modular codebases • Familiarity with GCP or similar cloud infrastructure • Experience with Airflow, Polars, Parquet, or Spark (nice to have) • Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation tools (nice to have) • Interest in the NLP/AI space (nice to have) • Comfort in a fast-moving startup environment (nice to have) • Authorization to work in the US without company sponsorship
