📋 Description

• Develop and execute the overall capital markets strategy in partnership with the CFO, CEO, and executive leadership team • Lead capital-raising activities across project, portfolio, asset, and corporate financing structures • Evaluate and execute construction debt, term debt/back-leverage, tax equity, tax credit transfers, preferred/growth equity, corporate debt, revolving credit facilities, joint ventures, structured capital, and asset-level refinancings • Develop financing strategies balancing cost of capital, liquidity, execution certainty, covenant requirements, risk allocation, and long-term enterprise value • Lead negotiations with banks, institutional investors, infrastructure funds, tax equity providers, private credit providers, investment banks, rating agencies, and other capital partners • Manage financing processes from market engagement through term-sheet evaluation, diligence, documentation, closing, and post-closing compliance • Establish capitalization priorities and maintain a capitalization roadmap for the development pipeline and operating portfolio • Oversee underwriting for community solar, distributed generation, energy storage, and related investment opportunities • Establish underwriting standards, investment criteria, risk classifications, return requirements, and investment review procedures • Provide executive oversight of project, portfolio, financing, and enterprise financial models • Conduct sensitivity, scenario, and downside analyses and evaluate IRR, NPV, ROIC, cash yield, debt-service coverage, leverage, and payback period • Lead preparation and presentation of capitalization and investment recommendations to the Investment Committee • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, liquidity forecasting, management reporting, and performance analysis • Design and evaluate financing structures and coordinate diligence with Legal, Tax, and Accounting • Oversee post-closing compliance with financing obligations • Advise the CFO, CEO, executive leadership team, and Investment Committee • Lead, mentor, and build the FP&A and investments team • Establish roles, decision rights, performance expectations, and development plans for direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field required • MBA, CFA, CPA, or other relevant advanced credential preferred • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in capital markets, project finance, structured finance, infrastructure investing, investment banking, renewable energy finance, private equity, or corporate finance • Significant experience within the renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or distributed generation sectors strongly preferred • Proven track record of raising and structuring capital, including project/corporate debt, tax equity, preferred equity, private credit, joint ventures, and growth equity, for solar, community solar, energy storage, or infrastructure assets • Expert-level understanding of project and enterprise financial models, downside/sensitivity analysis, and risk-adjusted investment underwriting • Demonstrated success preparing and presenting recommendations to Investment Committees, Boards, executive leaders, lenders, and institutional investors • Strong knowledge of renewable energy tax incentives, project revenue structures, and capital-provider requirements • Proven capability to lead, mentor, and grow FP&A, investment analysis, and transaction execution teams within a growth-oriented or private-capital-backed environment
