📋 Description

• Report to the VP, Head of US Policy • Advance policy priorities at federal and state levels • Oversee development and execution of comprehensive policy campaigns • Identify strategic partnerships supporting US policy campaigns • Harness stakeholder engagement to create momentum for policymaker action • Amplify key policy arguments and resources with external stakeholders • Coordinate with business unit and Government Affairs teams to advance preferred policy outcomes • Develop coordinated policy-shaping plans across enterprise-wide policy goals • Develop and deploy tools, resources, analytics, and strategic partnerships • Develop cohesive policy narratives addressing emerging policy threats • Develop tactics to create public support for policy change • Engage internal and external stakeholders to build consensus around strategic actions and advocacy initiatives • Lead and direct external consultants • Build support for the value of prescription drugs and efforts to rebuild public trust in science • Incorporate stakeholder feedback into strategic plans • Coordinate with business unit corporate affairs teams on policy objectives and policy-shaping efforts • Develop, influence, and direct multi-stakeholder coalitions • Leverage external relationships to identify emerging issues, regulatory and legislative trends, and political risks

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years experience with Master's degree in biopharmaceutical industry, trade association, government, stakeholder organization, academic think-tank, or payer organization preferred • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years experience as an alternative to a Master's degree • Demonstrated innovation and self-starter capability • Ability to create action through relationship-building and collaborative cross-functional work • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic and evolving environment • Excellent oral presentation skills and ability to present complex information accurately and concisely • Strong organization skills and meticulous attention to detail • In-depth knowledge of political and regulatory environments • Proven track record of relationship-building with industry associations and other stakeholders • Experience designing and delivering integrated public affairs strategies • Strong strategic thinking capabilities and ability to anticipate and respond to emerging challenges and opportunities • Ability to travel 15%-30%
