📋 Description

• Design and develop test systems and procedures for manufacturing processes • Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts for motherboard, memory, CPU, storage, and PCIe devices • Create, validate, release, and maintain test software and scripts that automate testing • Control test equipment, collect and analyze data, and generate test reports • Support and maintain manufacturing server (L10) and rack (L11) test software and infrastructure • Implement minor system configuration changes, including new IPNs • Maintain comprehensive L10 and L11 documentation of test procedures, specifications, and infrastructure • Collaborate with hardware engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality assurance personnel • Stay current on testing technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices • Define and collaborate on overall test infrastructure and application architectures • Interface with internal engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams and end customers • Travel globally up to 10% as required

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required • 5–8 years’ experience in software manufacturing test development/sustaining with enterprise server, storage, or networking products is required • A combination of education, training, and experience will be considered • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience with server hardware interaction, validation, and configuration • Experience in 2–3 core skill areas, with ability to expand the skillset as workload requires • Expertise in Python, Java, or BASH; C and C++ experience is a plus • Linux development expertise, including CentOS/Ubuntu fundamentals • Expertise with IPMI, Redfish, mprime, FIO, Linpack, ptugen, memtester, and iperf for controlling, managing, and stressing L10 devices • Experience creating and configuring VMs using VMware, including DHCP, PXE boot, and nginx • Expertise with enterprise Ethernet datacenter switching/routing and L1, L2, and L3 protocols, including BGP, DHCP Relay, and ECMP • Arista CloudVision experience is a plus • Experience with code versioning tools; Git preferred • Strong knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the software development life cycle • Ability to travel up to 10% globally • Hyperscale customer experience is a plus • MS in EE/CE or Computer Science is preferred • Multi-site and multicultural experience is a plus
