• Manage sales activities at high-profile Hirose accounts within Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin • Drive pipeline growth, increase sales, and implement strategic corporate directives • Exceed yearly sales goals and increase conversion dollars against year-over-year targets • Identify, build, and expand relationships within targeted accounts • Develop account strategies, meeting plans, and sales activities to achieve design wins • Collaborate with customer support, engineering, product management, marketing, and segment teams • Create and deliver customized product presentations • Support customers throughout development and production while communicating progress • Manage and prioritize opportunities across targeted accounts • Develop strategic account plans to maximize revenue, profitability, account penetration, and customer satisfaction • Establish executive relationships and act as the customer interface • Create, coordinate, and execute global strategies for international accounts • Identify and coordinate potential product-line development with key accounts and customers • Provide feedback for New Product Introduction plans and monitor development milestones • Maintain awareness of industry trends and interface with industry groups and standards committees as needed • Record customer meetings, projects, and opportunities in Salesforce • Complete monthly forecasting, reports, and presentations by deadlines • Support organizational initiatives and participate in setting yearly sales goals • Comply with sales policies, pricing guidelines, best practices, and applicable ISO9001-2008 tasks
• BS/A degree in Business or Technical field required • 5+ years of sales experience • 5+ years of sales experience in the electronic component industry required • Technical knowledge sufficient to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate Hirose product solutions • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent project management skills • Strong organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to communicate clearly across different cultures • Excellent presentation skills, including creating PowerPoint presentations • Ability to resolve and escalate issues in a timely manner according to customer needs • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Salesforce • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and great energy • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time • Must navigate the assigned territory for ongoing in-person meetings, including possible long-distance travel • Must adhere to normal business hours • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
