📋 Description

• Lead the IQ Platform team, setting technical direction, coaching engineers, and owning delivery of major platform initiatives end-to-end • Chart and communicate the vision for Jasper’s context layer • Build and scale the knowledge management system, including external integrations and RAG pipelines • Design and implement a self-improving context-layer architecture using usage, feedback, and new data • Write and review code alongside the team • Mentor engineers and raise technical excellence standards • Partner with Staff-level and senior engineers on complex, ambiguous problems • Balance velocity and quality while shipping extensible major systems • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to support real-world agent workflows at scale • Report to the Senior Director, Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• AI fluency, including LLMs, agents, copilots, tokens, credits, context windows, RAG, and data governance • 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience • Demonstrated people leadership and technical architecture ownership • Proven leadership connecting technical work to business outcomes • Flexibility to ship major systems in a startup environment • Ability to partner with Staff-level engineers on complex architectural and systems-design problems • Strong systems design and architecture skills • Experience building production platforms or infrastructure at scale • Nice to have: Hands-on experience with LLMs and applied LLM systems • Nice to have: RAG expertise, including retrieval pipelines, embedding strategies, and evaluation • Nice to have: Familiarity with LLM frameworks such as LangChain • Legally eligible to work in the United States • At least two years of valid U.S. work authorization
