📋 Description

• Develop and enhance professional relationships with medical thought leaders involved in product development • Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers in neurology and epilepsy • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs plans • Collaborate across functions to maximize territory opportunities • Identify and communicate clinical and research issues, insights, and data gaps • Participate in medical education through on-site presentations, investigator meetings, conferences, advisory boards, and regional meetings • Provide scientific and clinical support to formulary committees and payers • Lead scientific support for congress staffing, advisory boards, and sales training • Provide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions • Serve as medical consultant to the internal medical information department • Liaise with investigators interested in investigator-initiated trials • Monitor investigator-initiated research, review study designs, and oversee milestones • Support patient enrollment in company-sponsored clinical trials • Advise on evaluation of new products and technologies for portfolio enhancement or expansion

🎯 Requirements

• MS degree in a scientific and/or medical discipline required • MD, PharmD, or PhD strongly preferred • Experience as a Medical Science Liaison • MSL experience in epilepsy, spasticity, and/or cannabinoid science strongly preferred • Clinical or research experience in epilepsy, neurology, and/or cannabinoid science preferred • Ability to partner and maintain relationships within the medical community • Excellent presentation and teaching skills • Strong scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge • Current working knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations and guidelines relevant to industry interactions with healthcare professionals preferred • Strong capabilities working with digital platforms and tools • Willingness to travel 60–80% of the time • Valid driver’s license • Live within 30 miles of a major airport
