📋 Description

• Interact with Oncology healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance Amgen’s scientific platform • Communicate complex, cutting-edge scientific information and research concepts to healthcare decision-makers, including academic medical centers • Provide clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary decision-makers • Identify and train members of Amgen’s speakers’ bureau and keep them updated on new data • Respond to investigator-sponsored research proposals • Support Amgen-sponsored research • Provide insights from field interactions with healthcare thought leaders to Amgen partners • Provide scientific support for commercial, corporate accounts, and matrix colleagues handling HCP inquiries • Cultivate scientific relationships between Amgen and fellows in training • Lead or participate in committees and project teams supporting MSL strategies and tactics • Demonstrate Amgen values, leadership attributes, tact, professionalism, transparency, and innovation

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience • Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. preferred; other doctoral degrees considered • 3 or more years of experience in a medically related field • At least 1 year focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research • Post-doctoral training, including residencies and/or fellowships, may count as medically related experience • Current experience in Scientific Affairs or Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company • Oncology therapeutic area expertise • Ability to communicate complex scientific information and research concepts to healthcare decision-makers • Ability to provide clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary decision-makers • Ability to demonstrate tact and professionalism in communications and interactions • Sponsorship for this role is not guaranteed
