📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day administration of U.S. health and welfare benefit programs • Support Canadian benefits administration and global benefits initiatives • Manage employee eligibility, enrollment, life events, and dependent administration in Workday • Coordinate annual open enrollment, including testing, communications, employee education, and audits • Conduct benefits audits and reconciliations across Workday, payroll, and carrier systems • Support new benefit program and plan enhancement implementation • Administer and coordinate employee leaves of absence with third-party administrators • Manage FMLA, ADA accommodations, state and local paid leave, disability, military, parental, and personal leave cases • Monitor return-to-work processes and documentation • Configure, test, and maintain Workday Benefits and Absence Management processes, rules, events, and workflows • Support benefit integrations, carrier feeds, and vendor interfaces • Develop Workday reports, dashboards, and benefits and leave analytics • Manage benefits carrier, broker, consultant, administrator, and leave vendor relationships • Handle complex employee inquiries, escalations, communications, presentations, and training • Ensure compliance with benefits and leave regulations and support audits and reporting • Identify process improvements and support benefits integration for mergers, acquisitions, and global expansion

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 5–7+ years of progressively responsible experience in benefits and leave administration • Deep knowledge of U.S. health and welfare benefits programs and leave administration • Hands-on state and federal leave experience • Hands-on experience administering benefits in Workday • Experience managing relationships with benefits carriers, brokers, consultants, and third-party administrators • Strong understanding of benefits compliance requirements and applicable regulations • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Exceptional customer service orientation and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information • Experience with Workday Benefits and Absence Management • Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, ADA, and applicable leave regulations
