📋 Description

• Decide what to build next in AI and make the business case • Partner with OpenAI to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, prototype promising ideas, and determine future investments • Design evaluation frameworks and guardrails for regulated production environments • Balance latency, cost, and accuracy tradeoffs • Set the technical direction and architecture standards for chatbot systems • Shape the prompt engineering roadmap and maintain scalable architecture • Build automations for record disputes, email/callout reduction, and document validation • Work with subject matter experts to translate domain knowledge into reliable systems • Operate and scale a high-volume chatbot system handling over 70% of inbound sales and service requests

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in product engineering or forward deployed engineering, ideally in an early-stage startup • Track record of turning ambiguous problems into systems that run in production • Hands-on experience putting LLM-based systems into production • Experience with evaluations, regressions, latency, cost, and failure handling • Experience designing evaluation frameworks and guardrails • Knowledge of modern AI, including LLMs, agents, voicebots, and computer-use agents • Systems design experience, including interfaces, failure modes, and blast radius • Ability to evaluate emerging AI technologies and make investment decisions • Ability to work as a full-time salaried employee while residing in an eligible U.S. state or Ontario, Canada • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada
