📋 Description

• Serve as the strategic partner for top customers and own their production journey from prototype to scale • Be the single point of accountability for customers’ manufacturing success • Manage complex production projects across CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and other processes • Navigate DFM issues, supplier selection, quality requirements, and scale-up challenges • Guide customers through the transition from prototyping to volume manufacturing • Anticipate and solve supply chain and production challenges • Translate engineering specifications, supplier capabilities, and business timelines

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in custom mechanical manufacturing, including CNC, sheet metal, injection molding, casting, or similar processes • Direct experience managing production projects through their full lifecycle • Track record of interfacing with demanding customers on complex technical projects • Deep understanding of DFM, tolerances, material selection, and manufacturing processes • Service-oriented with genuine care for customer outcomes • Startup experience and ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments • Ability to discuss GD&T with engineers and business constraints with COOs • Ability to anticipate production challenges and move quickly • Mechanical engineering degree is a bonus • Experience scaling products from prototype to high-volume production is a bonus • Understanding of supply chain dynamics and supplier management is a bonus • US-based manufacturing experience is a bonus
