• Lead and grow a high-performing Grounds (Landscape & Snow Removal) S&P team for a large client • Manage expectations and team deliverables with S&P account leadership, Account leadership, and the client • Own and execute the long-term sourcing strategy for the Grounds IFM category • Drive performance, cost optimization, risk mitigation, governance, and innovation across the Grounds portfolio • Provide strategic vision and subject-matter expertise for Landscape and Snow Removal sourcing, supplier relationships, and program management • Analyze market trends, supplier bases, and industry changes and report findings to stakeholders • Advise stakeholders on scope development, risk mitigation, contract structure, and supplier strategy • Lead large-scale RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes from initiation through contract award and transition • Develop sourcing strategies, scopes, commercial models, evaluation frameworks, and award recommendations • Lead supplier communications, negotiations, clarifications, final selection, documentation, compliance, and governance • Partner with operations teams to standardize RFP/bid and contracting processes • Identify risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies • Oversee sourcing compliance, controls, technology tools, and adherence to the S&P Playbook • Independently negotiate master service agreements and performance-based contracts • Coordinate with Corporate Legal and Risk Management on contractual terms and approvals • Guide supplier relationship and performance programs, scorecards, QBRs, and quarterly reports • Mentor and educate suppliers and proactively resolve performance issues • Recruit, develop, coach, retain, and lead sourcing professionals • Establish priorities, assign deliverables, resolve operational issues, and ensure client satisfaction • Present sourcing strategies, award recommendations, and performance results to senior leadership and clients • Lead client meetings and strategy sessions and represent procurement in governance and executive forums • Deliver market, supplier, and operational intelligence and proactively escalate issues with recommended solutions
• 6+ years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services, with demonstrated experience in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) procurement • Consistent availability during standard business hours (e.g., 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST) • Reliable access to desk, computer, phone, email, and video conferencing systems (Zoom / Microsoft Teams) • Proven people management experience • Proven experience independently leading end-to-end RFx processes in complex environments • Strong stakeholder management skills in complex environments • Executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders • Strategic mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity • Demonstrated bias for action • Demonstrated success managing high-visibility service categories, preferably IFM or facilities-related services • Experience in contract negotiation and commercial strategy • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills • Excellent PC skills and proficiency in MS Office applications — Excel, Word & PowerPoint • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Query, with ability to clean, merge, and analyze large-scale datasets • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university • Willingness to travel within the U.S. (approximately 30%) • MBA or advanced credentials preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
