📋 Description

• Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial statements, journal entries, and bank reconciliations for a portfolio of 4 to 6 commercial properties • Coordinate accounts payable by reviewing invoice coding, verifying approvals, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and client requirements • Serve as the primary accounting resource for on-site property teams • Respond to procedural questions and resolve accounting issues • Oversee cash management, including loan servicing, disbursement processing, and external reporting • Manage internal and external audit processes and required documentation • Support annual budget preparation and accounting-system data entry • Execute year-end reconciliations, calculate adjustments, and ensure timely and accurate billing per lease requirements • Collaborate with property management teams locally and across the organization • Manage the assigned property portfolio and client relationships

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting • 2+ years of accounting experience, with real estate accounting experience • Experience with real estate accounting software such as MRI or Yardi (or similar CMMS platforms) • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, financial modeling, and report generation • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and prioritize workload to meet client deadlines • Client-focused ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Strong planning and organizational skills • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
