• Manage Data Center cost engagements for existing clients • Drive and deliver new business with capital planning clients and dedicated accounts • Lead capital planning and dedicated accounts, including successful implementation and service innovation • Manage strategy and operations for one or more programs and/or complex projects • Mentor, develop, and oversee team members and direct reports • Serve as Team Lead and manage client and on-account team expectations • Maintain and develop client relationships and manage fiduciary responsibilities for JLL and clients • Develop and implement P&L team strategy aligned with the PDS business strategy • Develop and implement best practices to enhance firm capabilities • Source new and cultivate existing client and business relationships; lead or support pursuit strategy and secure new business • Represent JLL at industry events, conferences, and media as a content contributor • Coordinate with global capital planning teams • Present to key stakeholders across project teams • Relay local market pricing for materials, labor, and equipment using published documents, historical data, and market studies • Drive capital planning technology and accountability for implementation • Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks affecting project deliverables, timelines, or budgets • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather data and provide timely project status updates • Implement lessons learned and best practices on future projects • Stay current with project-controls industry trends and support the global community of practice • Travel approximately 25%, subject to fluctuation
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; preference towards Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management • Extensive experience in project management, capital planning, and long-term accounts • Extensive knowledge of construction techniques/technology and real estate markets • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Strong communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within project cost management • Demonstrated competence in performing structured work assignments • Ability to use existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems • Ability to receive instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior-level roles • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship • Preferred: 10+ years as an Estimator, Cost Manager, Capital Planner, or similar role • Preferred: Knowledge of Cost-X, On-Screen Takeoff, or other estimating software • Preferred: Professional certification in project management (e.g., AACE, RICS) • Preferred: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Preferred: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Preferred: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Preferred: Familiarity with procurement and tendering processes
