📋 Description

• Provide patient, provider, and customer care • Use the pharmacy computer system to facilitate patient care • Participate in care activities that do not require pharmacist expertise • Prepare and label medications for distribution • Retrieve, review, and manage inventory for medications and supplies • Maintain pharmacy records • Perform housekeeping duties in compliance with hospital and accreditation policies • Participate in onboarding and training new pharmacy personnel • Comply with job-specific obligations and organizational policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience required • Certified Pharmacy Technician within 2 years through PTCB or NHA • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Intern with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy • Computer literacy • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory environment • Knowledge of pharmaceutical names • Ability to work 40 scheduled hours weekly • Regular, non-exempt employment status
