• Support US Commercial Strategic Imperatives for the Johnson & Johnson Rare Disease portfolio • Identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with national and regional KOLs • Develop KOL profiles, engagement and communication plans, and validate commercial target lists • Monitor KOL insights into treatment patterns and provide input into business plans • Address customer service needs and coordinate cross-functional action plans for KOL accounts • Liaise between KOLs and Johnson & Johnson for approved commercial activities • Attend and coordinate regional and national congresses • Identify and select speakers for product theatres and coordinate KOL engagement activities • Facilitate and execute commercial advisory boards • Recruit KOLs for sales training, national sales meetings, content development and commercial programs • Collaborate with marketing on positioning, campaigns, strategies and treatment-education messaging • Align with Medical Science Liaisons on complementary initiatives • Identify, contract and train qualified speakers • Assess program effectiveness, coach speakers, and ensure speaker-program compliance • Collaborate on speaker-training content and workshop delivery • Synthesize feedback for promotional programming, publication case studies and commercial projects • Plan speaker-program utilization and recruit KOLs for speaking opportunities • Deliver education opportunities for Healthcare Providers on management and treatment of warm Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (wAIHA) • Develop Academic Institution and Health System relationships to address policy, business and formulary issues • Identify growth opportunities and risks, implement strategies and collaborate with field partners • Build advocacy with Future Clinical Champions, including Residents/Fellows, NP/PA’s and Community Hematologists • Support corporate initiatives through tactical execution aligned with TLL responsibilities
• Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent is required • At least 10 years of combined Hematology, Rare Disease, or other related industry experience • A minimum of 5 or more years of work experience in one or more of the following: clinical liaison, thought leader management, key account management or clinical sales • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding expectations in assigned responsibilities as confirmed by references • Demonstrated ability to lead teams directly and indirectly • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business situations and identify trends and creative business solutions • Strong scientific acumen and business mindset • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including active listening and information synthesis • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to large and small audiences • Exceptional organizational skills • Fluency in articulating complex scientific concepts and data • Good judgment and ability to adapt and change in a shifting environment • Strategic, passionate self-starter who takes initiative • Ability to work well in large and small teams and remotely • Ability to collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams • Strong understanding of laws, regulations and rules governing the pharmaceutical industry and compliant interactions with Healthcare Providers • Ability to travel 60%-70%
