Obama Foundation is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and connecting people to foster change in their communities and the world. The Foundation runs various programs aimed at developing the next generation of leaders and changemakers through initiatives like the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance and the Girls Opportunity Alliance. 📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage Leaders USA programming, both virtual and in-person • Refine a shared values-driven leadership development curriculum with Global Programs and Strategic Learning teams • Align content and design elements across Obama Leaders programs and share best practices and resources • Implement the Leaders USA application and selection process • Lead review and selection of an inclusive, diverse cohort of emerging leaders • Collaborate with Impact and Insights on program design, monitoring, evaluation, and learning • Identify operational improvements and work with Program Operations to improve efficiency • Collaborate across Foundation departments and contribute communications materials for donors, the board, the public, and stakeholders • Support Development through programming opportunities and donor and prospect conversations • Partner with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and infrastructure teams on operational changes and challenges • Build and maintain partnerships with organizations, institutions, and individuals • Serve as regional representative and internal liaison across the United States and territories • Research and identify speakers, facilitators, consultants, and other program partners • Manage vendor activities, deliverables, contracts, and compliance requirements • Contribute to alumni engagement strategy and programming • Manage workflow, deliverables, and performance of two Associates • Coach direct reports and develop their project management capabilities • Create and manage the sub-team budget and steward Foundation resources • Recruit a diverse cohort of 50 emerging leaders • Establish collaborations with the Obama Presidential Center • Produce communications materials supporting organizational alignment, donor development, and operational efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in facilitation and curriculum development • Experience designing engaging virtual and in-person learning experiences • Experience delivering training sessions to diverse audiences across the USA • Experience evaluating program effectiveness and driving continuous improvement • 4–6 years of experience leading or supporting social impact or leadership programs, particularly with members in and across the USA • Demonstrated experience developing content for stakeholder engagement • Experience leading high-level virtual and in-person programming with multiple partners • Strong verbal and written skills • Ability to foster trusting relationships with program participants of all backgrounds • Detail-oriented, process-oriented project management skills • Budget, contract, and relationship management skills • Ability to work with a growing and global network
