📋 Description

• Own product and technical initiatives from design and scoping through implementation, launch, and iteration • Build reliable, maintainable systems for real-time scheduling, client booking, marketing automation, and professional business tools • Partner with Product and Design to understand customer problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and develop technical solutions • Contribute to technical design and architecture while balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, and delivery speed • Build across frontend, backend, event-driven systems, or end-to-end product development according to expertise • Own shipped quality through testing, code review, observability, and production support • Collaborate with and mentor engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing • Improve software development and delivery processes, including AI-assisted development tools • Work with technologies including Elixir, PostgreSQL, AWS, EventBridge, SQS, Oban, GraphQL, React, TypeScript, React Native, Terraform, Datadog, Snowflake, and Claude Code

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production applications • Strong software engineering fundamentals • Ability to design clean, maintainable solutions to complex problems • Track record of independently taking meaningful features or technical initiatives from definition through production • Experience partnering closely with Product and Design to understand customer needs and develop technical solutions • Ability to solve classes of problems and build extensible patterns • Ability to evaluate tradeoffs and make sound engineering decisions • Experience working effectively with engineers and cross-functional partners • Experience contributing to the growth of other engineers • Eagerness to learn unfamiliar technologies and solve new problems • Prior Elixir experience is not required • Experience with all listed technologies is not required
