📋 Description

• Facilitate group therapy sessions for clients. • Familiarize with and utilize evidence-based curriculum guides and training. • Provide detailed feedback and maintain clinical progress notes on clients. • Counsel one-on-one with clients when necessary. • Participate in community research and public health partners’ research and data collection efforts. • Formulate and maintain treatment plans for each client served. • Collaborate with community partners and providers on case management and care coordination. • Adhere to professional and ethical work standards and enforce appropriate counselor/client boundaries. • Manage group dynamics and problem behavior using strong professional judgment without jeopardizing group integrity. • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for licensing and billing. • Attend and engage in regular training, company meetings, monthly counselor consultation, and supervision as necessary.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor or Graduate degree in mental health, social work, psychology, addictions or related field. • Maine License as LADC, CADC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCISW. • 2-3 years of experience working with substance use or related field. • Ability to work 2 evenings per week up to 8:30pm as needed. • Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting. • High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc. • Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.
